The Univeristy of Auckland Debating Society is now on Twitter.

We use it to inform members of the key pieces of news. For example, if there is a last minute room change we can keep you up to date with the new location. Alternatively, when we are away at tournaments we use twitter to update you all on our results as each round finishes.

Our Twitter profile updates directly to our website so you don’t need to be a Twitter member to see the news, however those of you with accounts are welcome to “follow us” as well.

Twitter updates obviously only cover the bare essentials, so whenever you want to know more about a “tweet” be sure to visit the news section of the website for more details.

The Society hopes that an integrated approach to communication (that combines our website, twitter, facebook and our email newsletter) will ensure that members can receive the news they want, when they want it, how they want it.
