The Debating Society now has its own wiki, based on the same software that powers the official wikipedia.

The wiki is used to keep track of anything and everything to do with the Society, which means it can include all the excess or intricate information that never makes it to the website.

View, add or edit information about the Society via our own wiki!

The wiki is open to edit by anyone and we encourage any members (past or present) to add any information or stories they have about the Society. By way of disclaimer, because of the the collaborative nature of the wiki, we take no responsibility for the accuracy or content of the pages. That said, we do try to keep a close eye on what is modified or posted.

The wiki was launched in mid 2009, so for the first few months you will see it quickly fill up with new attachments, articles and information. Check back often!

In particular we are looking to include:

  • Profiles on our prominent debaters and alumni;
  • A moot bank recording moots from all the major tournmanents;
  • Case files on commonly debated moots;
  • Summaries of our achievements at various tournaments;
  • Archives of previous minutes and mailouts;
  • Uploaded versions of previous pamphlets and posters
  • Pretty much anything else you can think of…
